COSMIC POETRY & REFERENCES
One of the explanations about the Chalice of the Holy Grail is that it is the inverted cup of the heavens and stars that we see every night. Mexica-Maya-Andean tradition holds that the universe transfers energy, light, and spirit to our Milky Way galaxy which in turn transfers it on to our Sun and solar system to bring life to the Earth. In this sense the universe is a grail cup which dispenses the life blood and spirit of the Creator to us on Earth.
An ancient Atlantic myth holds that the Golden Apples of the Hesperides on the Canary Islands were in fact a reference to the planets of the solar system which receive their light from the Sun. The proto-cosmologers whose names were Ocean, Nix, Uranus, and later Atlas the astronomer in Morocco were declared guardians of the Golden Apples -that is the guardians of the secrets of the cosmos.
Emperors and great kings and queens were portrayed holding the globe or "the Earth apple" in their royal portraits as a symbol of their rule and guardianship over the Earth as the "earth-holder". This power and divine sanction (the Divine Right of Kings) carried with it many responsibilities such as upholding the laws, harmony, and justice of the cosmos.
The Oracle at Delphi
In response to an enquiry by Croesus, the Oracle of the god Apollo sung:
I can count the sands, and I can measure the oceans.
I have ears for the silent (deaf), and I know what the dumb man is saying.
Lo, my sense is struck with the meat of a tortoise boiling now in a cauldron with that of a lamb.
Brass is the cover above, and brass is the vessel beneath
There is much symbolic language contained in this famous speech: sands = stars, the silent and dumb = God, turtle = Earth in the cosmos, Lamb = galactic epoch of Aries.
Astronomical Numbers in Ancient Ireland
Book of Fenagh (The Stationary Office. 1939. Dublin, Ireland. p.14-15). The following note penned 1688 AD appears in the margin of the ancient Mss., "Eightscore cakes, nine times, was Caillin's feast, fact without falsehood. Three persons to each cake of these, of the band of Celebration -chanting, viz. : -1,440 cakes [x 3 = 4,320]; and the usual number of church people with Caillin was 4,320 men, together with all other guests who might come besides, and servants and others." [A sacred hexagon divides the precession of the vernal equinoxes in 4,320 years (25,920 divided by 6 = 4,320). The Great Pyramid of Giza is 1/43,200 the size of the Earth]. Following this marginalia the text continues, "Not less also did the Angel manifest to him, at the command of Christ, every king who would come after him for ever over Ireland." The text then tells of Cesair (granddaughter of Noah) + 50 women + 3 men = 54 total x 2 = 108 x 2 = 216 = 6 x 6 x 6, the holy sexagesimal number.
Ireland's Ancient Schools and Scholars (Bishop Dr. J. Healy. 1893. M.B. Gill & Sons. Dublin. p. 466), "Great numbers of saints and monks from all parts of Ireland were soon attracted to Kilcooney by the fame of its learned and holy founder (St. Cuanna). In fact we are told that on one occasion no less than 1,746 of these holy men assembled in conference in a beautiful meadow near the church, and there entered into a league of holy friendship with each other -surely a beautiful spectacle before angels and men in that rude and barbarous age. [half the diameter of the Moon = 1080 + 666 = 1,746. John Michell says that 666 is a number belonging to the Sun, while 1080 is a number associated with the Moon]. St. Cuanna replaced his deceased brother, St. Carthach, at Lismore which had become the premier university in all of Europe at this time. Lismore is associated with the rise of the British Empire, the British aristocracy, and the Secret College at Oxford instituted by Newton and Boyle.
The Five Extra Days of the Year
Plutarch in his work Isis and Osiris tells that Rhea lay with Cronus but was observed by the Helios the Sun who pronounced that the fruit of their union would not be allowed to be born in any month of the year. Hermes had also lain with the goddess and loved her -and he visited Selene the Moon goddess and challenged her to a board-game in which he won 1/72 of the year from her (360 divided by 72 = 5 days). On these five extra days to the year the five new gods were born by Rhea. Osiris and Harueris came from Helios. Isis came from Hermes. Typhon and Nephthys were fathered by Cronus. [Such is the beautiful Egyptian tale told about gods and the correct length of the year].
Coyolxauhqui and Coatlique Goddesses of the Milky Way
The story of the overthrow and replacement of Coyolxauhqui is recorded in El Templo Mayor De Tenochtitlan en la Obra de Fray Diego Duran (p. 69):
One day Coatlique was sweeping the temple, when a ball of feathers magically appeared and fell from the sky. Coatlique put the ball of feathers underneath the folds of her petticoat, but afterwards could not find it. Thus a magical union was consummated between the ball-of-feathers and Coatlique.
The 400 stars ask their pregnant mother, Coatlique, who has put you in this condition? Their mother could not give them an answer. Then Coyolxauhqui tells the 400 major stars of the sky that they must kill their mother who has committed this infamy. Before they can attack
her, she gives birth to Huitzilopochtli who is born as a fully-armed mature warrior. He defends his mother against Coyolxauhqui and the 400 stars; kills and cuts off her head, arms, and legs—and throws Coyolxauhqui down the pyramid-temple staircase to her death. This story is about the changeover from one epoch of the cycle of the Milky Way to a new epoch. One may notice that the story of Athena resembles this tale -as Athena was also born from the head (Aries) of Zeus fully-armed and ready to go. Coyolxauhqui is the ancient goddess of the time period of Pisces which is now replaced by Aries in the cosmic cycle of the Milky Way. Coatlique is portrayed as the Great Serpent of the Milky Way in Mexican art.
